A native of Durham, North Carolina, April Parker
Jones studied theatre at N.C. Central University before moving to New York City in pursuit of a professional acting career. While in New York, she was cast in many productions at The Billie Holiday Theatre. Parker Jones received two Audelco Award Theatre nominations for Best Actress for the production Plenty of Time. Upon her arrival to Los Angeles she was cast in stage productions of A New Beginning and A Yankee Trader.
Her theatre work has paved her way to recurring roles on the CBS series Jericho, The Young and the Restless and 90210. Other television credits include: guest star roles on CSI Miami, ER, Lost, The Unit, NCIS, Lie to Me, NCIS:L.A.,The Defenders, Prime Suspect and The Chicago Code. Film credits include Spiderman-3, Sleeping, Have a Little Faith and Heaven; to name a few.
